by showcasing that toy (or sculpture, or whatever) in front of one of his pen and ink drawings, pushead is demonstrating the glaring short-comings between his “fine art” and his “toys”. you admire pushead’s work because of the detail, the stippling, and the painstakingly etched linework, but these little toy things lack the detail that “makes” a pushead creation. even the subject matter seems to be less of a consideration in these miniatures. aside from their novelty factor, i just don’t see the value in that thing.

although it’s refreshing to see that after all these years pushead still can’t draw a human hand and so continues to devise more and more elaborate ways to hide the hand in his compositions (i.e. what the fukk is up with skullpirate’s right hand?)

  2. It is a common misconception that pus can’t draw hands…
I mean according to your theory the Skull Pirate should then have TWO hooks for hands, or do you propose that King Pus can only draw left hands?
The man does love to draw bandages over hands, but I have shown proof (above) that he can draw a hand!
    Fuck the naysayers!

    wow…touchy.

i’ll concede that yes, pushead can actually draw hands, he just avoids them more than he produces them. that, or he has an amputee fetish.

what i won’t concede, and what you’re just too chicken to admit, is that this toy looks like ass. please see the drawings you submited for consideration above as further proof that pushead is best enjoyed in two dimensions (three dimensions if you count time…)

    and lastly, “king pus”?
