I was almost out of paper filters for my Aeropress and rather than buying more I grabbed a Kaffeologie S Filter, which proved to be a great idea. More porous than the paper filters (and with no paper taste or waste), these let all of the coffee’s oils pass through, giving you a truer flavor. Also good for the coffee asshole that travels with their Aeropress, you no longer have to bring multiple paper filters, just the S Filter that travels in end cap. A co-worker gave me a bag of Tonx, a bi-monthly coffee subscription. It’s pretty fucking good, the problem being it works out to being $19 a bag, which is fine if I lived in Idaho and had no access to fresh roasted coffee. Not worth the money if you live in a 1st world coffee town.

Bought this Hario Skerton from Tre a few weeks ago and finally got a chance to use it…
